[編輯] What education specific applications (apart from kde-edu) does DebianEdu provide?

For classroom/student/grades/tests management: basically, every package in debian etch.

The differences in terms of packages between DebianEdu and Debian Etch are in http://ftp.skolelinux.org/skolelinux/needs_love.html

For server and client update mechanisms, LDAP setup helpers, see http://wiki.skolelinux.no/DebianEdu/Documentation/Etch/Architecture

Basically, DebianEdu automatically configures the server with LDAP, file sharing and everything else.

The standard install method is a custom debian installer, which asks if you want server, client or ltsp; the rest, is mostly automatic. See: http://wiki.skolelinux.no/DebianEdu/Documentation/Etch/Installation
